Danae A is a truly remarkable model, whose flawless beauty is highlighted in a simple yet striking new series by Luca Helios. For “Fame,” Helios chooses the intimacy of a bedroom setting, shooting Danae from close range atop a pile of brown and white sheets. Staying closely with the model throughout the series, the photographer never pulls back to reveal the rest of the room. Instead, he hovers over Danae’s ivory flesh, capturing her curves from many intimate angles. Danae is nude from the beginning of the series and touched with just the slightest makeup. Her blond hair is pulled back loosely from her face, creating a frame for her large blue eyes and aquiline features.
The simplicity of the setting for “Fame” highlights Danae’s enormous talents as a model. She has appeared in Met Art for several years, and some of her appearances rank among Met’s most popular photo shoots. Currently, she is ranked number two among the thousands of women that grace Met’s pages. Posing for a camera, Danae is incredibly comfortable, natural, and uninhibited. Danae looks incredibly gorgeous in the first image featured from the series. Seated simply with her knees raised to her chest, Danae tilts her head into her hand and looks up at the camera. Her hair is pulled loosely behind her head and bangs frame her oval face, highlighting the beautiful shape and color of her eyes, as well as the dramatic line of her cheekbones.
In the second feature image, Danae has flipped onto her back, and she lifts her hips in a sensuous and suggestive position. The contrasting lines of the white sheet, the orange blanket, and brown headboard divide the photographic space into neat sections, increasing the visual appeal of the photos. Lifting a hand to her mouth, Danae gives the camera a soft and kittenish look, which oozes sensuality and fearlessness.
Helios is generous with close-up shots of Danae, moving in to capture her buttocks, her soft stomach, and the perfect curve of her large, round breasts.
