Met-Art members have come to expect a lot from Richard Murrian.
His images first appeared on the site over a year ago, and since
then he’s been delivering big time on his aesthetic promise
to bring beautiful young girls into an artistic light through masterly
photographs. His use of the soft lens, of the pristine setting,
of the dramatic lighting, and of the nubile young female have made
him a favorite. Now, he has given us yet another masterpiece in
the incredible Anastasya, which may indeed be his finest.
The title of the piece is “Innocent Beauty,” and no
more fitting title could be found. For this series gives you nothing
if it doesn’t give you a deep and personal glimpse into the
beauty of innocence. A young woman sits in a pleasant room. Candles
burn on the mantle. The furniture looks antique. There is an ambience
of romance and pleasure in the air. And dressed in fine black silks,
she stares longingly at the camera, as if she were asking it to
join her in the escapade of sensual maturation.
All the amazing techniques of Murrian are used in this series, leading
to a zenith of photographic enticement. Our model is the perfect
subject. Her youth is stunning and compelling. She has long, tender
limbs. She has small, budding breasts. She has full, ripe lips.
And she has desiring, eager eyes. You can really “get into”
this model due to Murrian’s ability to capture her personality
while also elevating her to the level of myth. She is both Anastasya
the Amazing, and Anastasya the Amateur. Both are present in her
joyful, tempting form.
The most incredible aspect of this series is the way in which Murrian
highlights different aspects of the model’s body, letting
us share in the innocence of her secret places. As the light bounces
off her small breasts, the nipple is accentuated, and the viewer
can almost taste the salty sensation of placing it in his mouth.
The curve of her inner thigh, crisp in the candle light, is provocatively
placed before us, supple and firm, soft and sweet, round and ready
for our hard desire. But most of all, there are the eyes. The light
glints in their whites. They are as brown as almonds, and feline
in their prowess. They look deeply into us, asking simply, “Do
you like me?”
Yes, we do, Anastasya, yes, we do!
