Over the past months, we have come to expect consummate artistry
from Pasha, without a doubt one of our most popular photographers.
This month, however, even the master has outdone himself with a
series so stunning, so simple, and so pristine, even we are rubbing
our eyes in amazement. The series is called “Alla,”
and it features a model and a setting of such innocence and beauty,
you will be transported back to a time when nature and youth were
pure and untouched in a world far from ours.
At the center of Pasha’s most recent masterpiece is the incredible
model, Alla. She is the image of all things perfectly feminine and
pure. Her skin is of the smooth alabaster, like finely honed ivory.
Her auburn hair is in tight curls, looking like early grapes hanging
from the vine. Her lips are rouge and pert. She looks delicate and
adorable with eyes that smile and a body that moves lightly and
gracefully. She is, in essence, the very epitome of a young nymph
ripening into a woman.
And Pasha has chosen the perfect settings to highlight her infinite
charms. One setting is the inside of a bedroom, showered in a deep
bronze late afternoon light. There is a large wooden bed with a
sheepskin cover. Our model lays voluptuously upon it. Then there
is the outer building space. It appears to be a white stucco cabin
or chalet in the French wine country. Vines are strewn from the
trellis. A bright but soft sun shines down on the scene. Blue window
panes accentuate the rustic simplicity of the building. Our featured
model stands elegantly on the porch, as if to invite us into her
little summer abode for tea and cuddling.
The true richness of this series, however, must be witnessed by
going thru the almost 100 photos you can find in it, for moving
from photo 1 to photo 100 gives you the impression of a mysterious,
alluring narrative in which you are introduced intimately to this
darling model, invited, as it were, into the very secrecy of her
sensual imaginings. The story begins with her lounging lazily on
the bed, as if she has just woken up from a deep and satisfying
dream. She then stands and poses in the corner of the room, almost
as if to say that she has been startled by a frightening, yet, in
the end, desired guest. She then puts on her spring dress (pure
lily white lace) and moves outside into the morning sun. This is
followed by a coquettish game of hide-and-seek among the grape vines
on the porch, as if to invite her playmate back inside for another
rousing session of bliss.
All in all, this is a story in which any man would want to play
the hero!
