All the power and genius of Richard Murrian is on display in this
incredible new series, featuring the hot young teen model, Barbara.
By taking a deeper look at this astounding collection of erotic
images, one gains a greater sense for why Murrian is heralded as
one of the premier nude photographers on the planet today. And,
what’s more, why he has chosen Barbara as the model thru which
to expose his talents.
There is, of course, as all aficionados of fine erotic photography
know, far more to shooting nudes than simply getting a girl to take
her clothes off and shooting her naked. There is, as we say, the
“compositional issues.” And Murrian has those covered
expertly in this collection.
The series begins in Part 1 with Barbara sitting in a chair. She
is wearing beige and white linens, giving her the air of a cultured
French girl dressing down to look like a peasant. The room is lit
with a yellow hue, making it seem like late afternoon, just before
the evening. The hour of greatest expectation.
Then, frame by frame, Murrian has Barbara looking at the camera,
fully dressed, in the most alluring and curious ways. She actually
seems to be looking straight into the eyes of the man looking at
her in the picture. She is penetrating the viewer with her gaze.
And her eyes say it all: “Here I am, for you. As innocent
as you want me. Ready for your touch. Excited by your desire. Teach
me. Take me. Please me.”
Slowly, then, Barbara begins to undress, as if she is unwrapping
the most precious gift God has ever given his people. She is not
hasty to show it all right away, but she seems eager to finally
be out of her dress. Murrian uses the light here expertly, accentuating
the angles and curves of her young, soft, delicate frame. Further,
he is constantly moving in close to capture, for instance, just
her face and her breasts, and the thrill of seeing these perfections
so close up in a high resolution image…well, it can’t
be put into words.
As we move into Part 2 of the series, Barbara is relaxing and beginning
to move her body in highly arousing ways. She is bending over in
the bed, leaning out the window with no shirt on, staring dewy-eyed
and pouty-lipped into the lens, begging us to come visit her for
a while. Murrian manipulates all these sensations perfectly. He
gives us Barbara, captures her, if you will, yet all the while he
lets her remain as untouched and innocent as she truly is. In short,
we are given the girl herself, in all her perfection, virginal,
precious, and blossoming.
This is, as Murrian says, woman in the time of becoming.
